Terms of Service

1. Parties and Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the izmoce platform (the "Platform", "Service") offered at izmocecgimi.com.

By using the Platform, you represent that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of the Service

izmoce is a web-based service offering features such as AI-powered career planning, manifestation (future/goal narrative), CV building, study plans, and progress tracking.

AI-generated content within the Service (career plans, study plans, manifests, CV texts, etc.) is for informational and guidance purposes only. Such content:

  • Provides no guarantee of any specific outcome, university admission, or success.
  • Is not a binding source for official application deadlines, exam requirements, or admission criteria; you must always verify such information with the relevant official institutions.
  • Does not replace professional advice (educational consulting, legal, financial, etc.).

2.1. Nature of the Service

İzmoce is an educational technology and organizational planning tool that helps you plan your career and university preparation journey. İzmoce does not provide immigration, visa, or admissions consultancy; does not replace licensed advisory services; and does not guarantee admission, scholarships, or exam results. The plans and suggestions offered are for informational and organizational purposes; it is the user's responsibility to verify official requirements from the relevant institutions (university, exam provider, consulate).

3. Membership and Account

  • You may need to create an account to use the Platform.
  • You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials (email, password) and for all activities carried out through your account.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
  • If you become aware of unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.

4. Age and Capacity

Persons using the Platform are expected to have the legal capacity to enter into a contract under the laws of their jurisdiction. Minors should use the Platform only with the knowledge and consent of a parent/guardian. For paid subscriptions, the person making the payment is assumed to have the necessary authority.

5. Premium Subscription, Payment, and Billing

5.1. Merchant of Record

Sales are processed by Dodo Payments as the Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles payment collection, invoicing, tax collection, and refunds.

  • Payment, billing, sales tax/VAT calculation, and refunds are managed by Dodo Payments.
  • Your card details are not collected or stored by izmoce; they are processed directly by Dodo Payments.
  • The transaction may appear as "Dodo Payments" on your credit card statement.
  • The service provider identity does not change: the platform operator is Elif Merttürk; Dodo Payments only acts as the Merchant of Record in the payment process.

5.2. Subscription Terms

  • The Monthly, Yearly, and CV-only plans renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to your saved payment method unless cancelled.
  • The trial plan (7 days) is a one-time payment; it does not renew automatically and access ends by itself at the end of the period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page, through the Dodo Payments customer portal, or by contacting our support email (mertturk@izmocecgimi.com). Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period, and access continues until then.
  • If subscription fees change, you will be notified in advance; your consent will be obtained where required by law. Current plans and prices are shown on the checkout page.
  • If your payment method cannot be charged, your subscription may be suspended.

5.3. Refunds

Refund terms are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. No refunds are issued for unused subscription periods; for digital services delivered instantly, such as AI content generation, the right of withdrawal may be limited once the service has been used.

6. Acceptable Use

When using the Platform, you agree to:

  • Act in compliance with applicable law and these Terms,
  • Not infringe the rights of others,
  • Not engage in actions that endanger the security of the Platform (unauthorized access, malware, automated data scraping, etc.),
  • Not use the Service for unlawful, misleading, or harmful purposes.

In case of breach of these rules, your account may be suspended or terminated.

7. Intellectual Property

The design, logo, brand, software, and original content on the Platform belong to the operator or relevant rights holders and are protected under intellectual property law. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without permission.

The content you enter (CV details, goals, etc.) belongs to you; you grant us the right to process this content for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is." No warranty is given regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of AI-generated content.
  • The operator cannot be held liable for the consequences of decisions you make (educational, application, financial, etc.) based on information provided through the Platform.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • The Service is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform uses third-party service providers for data storage (Supabase), AI (Anthropic, Google/Gemini), payment (Dodo Payments), and email. These providers' own terms and policies apply. See the Privacy Policy for details.

10. Force Majeure

The operator cannot be held liable for disruptions or interruptions in the service caused by natural disasters, war, epidemics, infrastructure/internet outages, third-party service provider failures, or other events beyond its reasonable control.

11. Suspension and Termination

The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of breach of these Terms or where required by law. You may also close your account at any time.

12. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Platform. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

14. Assignment

You may not assign your rights and obligations under these Terms to third parties without the operator's prior written consent. The operator may assign these Terms in the event of a transfer of the service.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. In any disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to your rights under consumer law, the competent authorities are the relevant courts and consumer arbitration committees in Türkiye.
